Reading Wk8 Sketch of Miami

This term we are reading the book Refugee. In the book one of the three characters has just seen the lights of Miami. I drew a picture of the scene. She has also just lost her friend in a shark attack so I drew the industriales cap that he always wore😢.

For my reading this week Thomas, Eden,Emily, Kahi, Cameron, and I did a freeze frame of our novel Refugee. I was Waleed, Kahi was the Dad, Thomas was the Mum, Emily was the cameraman, Cameron was Mahmoud, and Eden was the taxi driver. We did the scene where Mahmoud's family is in the taxi and the  taxi driver is pointing a gun at them.

At school we have been reading the book Refugee. So because one of the characters has just past the Bahamas we decided to do a stop motion video of the scene.
