Weekly Reflection Wk/1 Term 4

This week has felt very short but in that short amount of time I have wanted to get things done quickly so I have completed a lot of work. I have got through my personal inquiry quickly and am hoping to get that done in the 5th week. I have almost completed 3rd grade khan and have done 20 mins each day some days doing more than 45 mins. This has been a very confusing week because pet day has been and we had to prepare for that so there has not been as much time to do work but our timetable for our personal inquiry has helped clarify what we are doing and helped us work around pet day. This has been a good week for learning and working yourself.

Weekly Reflection Wk 8

This week has been a pretty busy week. I have done well to keep up and have been very successful in doing my work to a high standard. I can cope with not having a structured day and not being told we have to do a certain subject at a certain time. I will be fine with doing my own work at any time and will focus on things that are close to becoming . I have completed my Kiwi kids news featured article, have started my personal inquiry and have finish all my fairy tale writing and scratch. I have made progress on my water colour portfolio and am hoping to finish it by the end of next week.

Weekly reflection Wk/7

This week has been confusing and has been hard to keep up with everything. Even though it has been hard to keep up I have tried hard to keep up and have done surprisingly well. We have been learning about being connected and I have tried to be connected with everyone and trying to make the connection stronger between me and everyone else in the school. I completed my Hansel and Gretel story after being behind and also my Kiwi kids news featured article. I have done well in math because I have been practicing. This week has been a good week.

Weekly Reflection

I think that I have been on task and I don't have any overdue tasks from this week. With the changes that have happened ate our school I don't think I have changed very much. I got everything I needed to get done done. I feel I have been using my time wisely and been getting stuck into my work and trying hard to finish everything to a high standard. Sometimes during the week I have been off task but after that I would try to work faster or to a higher standard. I have been to the teacher a few times just to talk about things I haven't completed or things I am struggling with and he has been very helpful and has helped make me better at self managing my day which has helped me become a better self directed learner. Overall I think this week has been very productive.

My awesome holiday recount

In my holiday I got to chill out and have some rest. I spent most of the first week playing Xbox with my brother and watching youtube. We made a blanket fort and shot Dad with nerf guns. In the last weekend we had friends over because their sister had a basketball tournament so we had lots of fun playing basketball and Xbox. Their sister got into the final but lost 41-46. Her team was happy though because they got into the final. That was my holiday It was really fun.       

My Weekend

In the weekend I played a game of league. We won 34 - 22 in a close game until the end. After that we went home and played basketball with Blake. I won 21 - 19. The next day we transformed into lumberjacks and cut up some firewood. In the end we filled three trailers with wood. We almost filled our newly created wood shed but not quite. The rest of the day I watched people playing air-soft which is a team game that you play with BB guns and you shot the other team. It was a nice weekend. 

My holiday

The first week of my holiday was not very eventful until we got some friends over for the weekend. We went to the pancake rocks when the weather was stormy which made it an amazing experience. The next day we went to shantytown and said goodbye to our friends. We spent another couple of days at home until we went to Ashburton to see more friends and played a lot of basketball. Blake popped our basketball so we went to get a new one. As we were driving home we went to more friends houses and had a dunk contest on their basketball hoop. It was an amazing holiday

My Weekend

On Saturday I played league. We played in a nines tournament. There were three games, each of them were 18 minutes long. We lost the first one and lost the second one. We weren't told the score of the last one but we played really well and worked together as a team. The next day Dad and Blake went to cut up a deer down at a friends house. Dad said I could bike down to help with Kahi. So I hoped on my bike for the around 1 km ride to Kahi's house which would then lead to an 8 km trek down the road to start helping. We didn't do much helping but we played around a lot and ran around the paddock next door. It was a fun but tiring weekend.

Easter weekend journal

In the 5 day weekend Blake and I played a lot of rugby and basketball. We explored the huge paddock next to our house. We brought along with us a BB gun for some target practice. Blake was walking around so I shot in his direction to see if he would duck but unluckily for him he didn't so I shot closer and he still didn't duck So I shot at him and I hit him in the back and he ran away to try and hide but I got him again. We went back home to play a game of rugby. We didn't track the score but there were a lot hard hits. The next day we got lots of Easter eggs and ate most of them the same day. The next day we went to the movies with Toby (Blake's friend) to see Peter rabbit. It was really funny and I give it a 4/5. We dropped Toby off and went back home and played basketball and I finally dunked on our basketball hoop which made Dad really surprised. It was a really fun and busy weekend.

My Weekend

On Friday I played the another two games in the nines league tournament. We lost the first game and we weren't told the score of the second game. After that we had dinner and went home. On Saturday I was woken up at about five o'clock because Mum was leaving to go to Ed Sheeran. I fortunately got back to sleep. We went to Greymouth for Kaitlyn's ballet practice then had some lunch and went home to play a game of Basketball with Dad. I was dunked over more times than I can count and got less shots in than a guy with a broken arm. The next day we almost completed the woodshed. We put some corrugated iron on the roof  and started piling some wood in. It was a fun and busy weekend.

My Weekend

My weekend was made up of building and sport. On Friday I played in a nines league tournament. We played to games and won one and drew one. The next morning I got up and started to play basketball by myself until Blake came out and challenged me to game. It was very close and I won 10-8. Then we went into town for Kaitlyn's Ballet performance practice. We drove back home and I was about to turn on the T.V when I was told that one of my friends was in Christchurch hospital with burns up his arms and legs. On Sunday we carried on building a woodshed. We got to putting the iron over the outside of it when we stopped. It was a busy weekend.

My weekend

In the weekend we woke up at 6:30 to go to Christchurch and watch the Black caps vs England. The line into the oval was humongous and we waited for over 15 minutes. We played some cricket and watched the Black caps get smashed. It was good fun and we saw some friends. We walked right around the oval until we got told we couldn't go past. We saw the hurricanes beat the crusaders. It was really fun.   

My Weekend

My weekend was nice and quite. Blake and I were having flat out basketball games which was like a two day competition to see who was the best. We played about 45 games in one day. Then we played some swing ball before running to the end of a paddock and back. Blake and I had a bike race around the house which I won because I was changing gears which made it easier to ride. It was a fun weekend.

My Weekend

For the weekend I went to Ashburton for my friends Mums birthday. We checked out his new basketball and played for a while until we got called to go swimming in their Nana's pool. We did some races where one person ran from the pool three times around the backyard then come back to the pool, tag the other person then they swim a length to the finish. For dinner we had pizza, chicken and chips. Afterwards the delicious chocolate cake came out. We didn't get to bed until 11:30 because we were using the haunted Elmo doll that moves in the night. I woke up at 7:00 had breakfast then left. It was a fun filled weekend.       

Autobiography poem

In class did an autobiography about us and the things we love, where we want to go, where we live and so much more. Our teacher Miss J thought it was a good idea to get to know each other so we can work together better and most importantly brighten up our empty walls! 

My Weekend

My weekend was full of building and playing some sports with Blake.We went to the Preseason Hurricanes vs Crusaders with Ridge. It was a good game to watch and the final score was 44-22 to the Hurricanes. The first sport was american football. We played with Kaitlyn and she beat us. Then we started building a wood shed. We started by digging post holes in the ground. We got that finished and put the supports in and then the frame. Afterwards we sat down and watched the Superbowl. It was close until the end when the eagles pulled away. My favourite part was the end when Tom Brady threw a huge pass to the in-zone and the receiver dropped it at the last second.The Eagles won 41-33. It was really fun.

My Weekend

In the weekend it was Blake's birthday and he got lots of presents. He got a drift trike which we played with a lot, two new books, three bags of chocolate, some awesome clothes and a new wallet. After all the present had been opened we went into town to watch The son of Bigfoot. It wasn't the best movie and the story line didn't really make sense to me. After that we got some pizza and played in the park. After that we went home and played on the drift trike. It was really fun and we played with it all weekend. Then we decided to race. Me and Blake would swap after 1 lap and Kaitlyn would race on her scooter. We raced until catastrophe struck. I sped into a corner started my drift but drifted to hard, hit a bush and flipped the trike. The next day we went into the town square and did a workout. There was so many people there and it was really hard. It lasted about 1 hour and my knees felt like they were on fire. It was a super fun weekend.

My Weekend

In the weekend some of our friends from the east coast came to our house. We played an intense game of basketball which ended with me slicing the defense and doing a reverse layup. After that we went into Greymouth and saw four hectors dolphin floating around in the sea. The next day we put up a fence around the garden so the wekas and chickens couldn't get in and we could actually grow stuff without it getting ripped out of the ground. After that I played a 1v1 against Blake my little brother. It was raining threes. I tried to end it by a mean dunk on Blake but I missed and fell over top of Blake and fell on my back. It was a fun but painful weekend
